Description

How is the personal political?
What are our key gifts as gender- and sexually-diverse people that we might bring to the world?

What roles can we take on to support and help us to work together as activists to create a better world?

Activist, sociologist and writer George Lakey invites gender- and sexually-diverse (LGBTQI+) people to join him as he draws upon his latest book Viking Economics and talks about his personal journey as an activist and as a gay man. He’ll explore the things that have influenced and supported him in his activism, and how we can grow and support ourselves and each other in ours. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and share our responses, ideas and stories during the evening.

Viking Economics is published by Melville House.

Arrivals from 19.30, event starts at 20.00.
